Mansoura University councel held a meeting on 3rd September 2018, under the chairmanship of prof/ Mohamed Kenawy- President of Mansoura University and prof/Kamal Gad Sharoubim -Governor of Dakahlia to discuss the preparations for the new academic year.
Prof/Mohammed Kenawy started the session by congratulating the Governor of Dakahlia on assuming the new position, and wished him the best of luck in upgrading Dakahlia governorate in various sectors and fields.
He pointed out that the executive authorities in the governorate bear the responsibility of solving many problems under the circumstances.
The governor of Dakahlia expressed his happiness for his presence among a set of great scientists and leaders of Mansoura University, stressed that the university is an expert house in many sectors and the importance of constructive cooperation between the university and all executive sectors in the governorate.
The Council discussed the preparations for the new academic year 2018-2019 and the preparations within the various faculties and the plan for students' reception in various faculties.
They also discussed the plan for the development of the university campus and the cultural coordination of the university from inside and outside was also reviewed.
The Council also approved the signing of a cooperation agreement with Kyushu Institute of Technology in Japan, the signing of a joint cooperation protocol with the Johhati Institute of Biotechnology in India, as well as the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the University and the College of Science and Technology of the Republic of Sudan in Khartoum.
