About the unit:

In light of the sustainable development plan "Egypt Vision 2030", which requires the formation of an efficient and effective administrative apparatus characterized by governance, which in turn contributes to achieving development, responds to citizens and their aspirations, and achieves satisfaction and happiness for them, and in belief in our role in achieving the goals of the reform approach adopted by our beloved Egypt, and since universities and their faculties are at the forefront of the institutions that are responsible for achieving the goals, standards and indicators of Egypt Vision 2030 within the framework of the values ​​of giving, belonging and excellence, and motivating the advancement of performance levels and commitment to quality and excellence standards. Since the college obtained the accreditation of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education on 26/8/2019, and it was necessary for the college to rise to excellence after quality, the Government Excellence Unit was established at the college based on the decision of the College Council dated 19/12/2019, in order to keep pace with developments and develop human capabilities through the unit, encouraging an atmosphere of positive, effective and constructive competition and consolidating the principles and values ​​of excellence in the college, and supporting internal and external institutional competitiveness and working in a team spirit and participating in the "Egypt Award for Government Excellence" competition, which is organized annually not only at the level of institutions but also at the level of individuals and all categories of the award.

The Government Excellence Unit at the college seeks to achieve a qualitative shift in institutional performance by designing a system for government excellence and preparing its standards and using them as a basis for evaluation so that they include three main axes:
1- The vision axis.
2- The enablers axis.
3- The innovation axis.

For the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Mansoura University to be a distinguished and pioneering institution in all aspects of performance to achieve the vision of the university and Egypt's vision 2030

The college seeks to create an ecological system that achieves sustainable excellence for its main tasks through best practices that support innovation and anticipate the future in all its educational, research and community aspects and build effective partnerships internally and externally according to international quality standards and government excellence enablers to achieve its leadership locally and globally

Unit Objectives:

1. Spread the culture of excellence among the various departments of the college in line with Egypt's vision 2030.

2. Support innovation and creativity to improve the services provided to those dealing with the college.

3. Achieve better rates of satisfaction for clients and strategic partners with the college

4. Raise the efficiency of the administrative apparatus within the college to ensure the application of the concepts of governance and sustainability

5. Encourage competition between the various scientific and administrative departments of the college.

6. Shed light on the best successful practices and apply them, publish them and follow up on them to achieve sustainability.
