Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Maha Abdo El-Ashmawy, Dean of the Faculty, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. Engy Fikry Reesha, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Adl, Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty, and Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim Aql, Director of Student Care and Organization, and Student Union/Cultural Committee at the Faculty, and within the framework of the educational seminars program for the Faculty students within the series of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif seminars at Mansoura University and within the premises of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, in cooperation between the Sheikhdom of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Mansoura University, an educational awareness seminar was implemented for the Faculty students entitled “Temptations of the Virtual World” How young people are lured into gambling, as part of the first activities of the electronic gambling program and religious awareness of cyber awareness and the dangers of the dark web.

The symposium discussed the phenomenon of online betting and gambling and its impact on society
and on youth, considering it part of the psychological and intellectual warfare. It also addressed the negative psychological and social effects of this phenomenon, the means by which youth are attracted to online gambling, and the various temptations used to lure them into the virtual world.
