The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Mansoura University receives a technical support visit from the Excellence Evaluators Team at the Center for Excellence and Future Foresight.

As part of the university's constant keenness to promote the culture of excellence, stimulate creativity, and encourage distinguished cadres of individuals and teams within its various faculties, in a way that supports the university performance system at all levels, and based on Mansoura University's announcement of the launch of the third round of the Internal Excellence Awards for the year 2025, the category of distinguished government colleges, and under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Maha El-Ashmawy, Dean of the Faculty, received the team of the Center for Excellence and Future Foresight to conduct a simulation visit to the faculty over the course of Sunday and Monday, October 5th and 6th, 2025, to provide technical and advisory support in preparation for participation in the Internal Excellence Awards.
The visit came in implementation of the university's directives regarding monitoring institutional excellence activities within the colleges, in light of the launch of the third cycle of the University Award for Government Excellence 2025. The visit focused on monitoring institutional performance within the college and reviewing the development plans that have been implemented. It also focused on providing technical support and consultations aimed at raising the efficiency of academic and administrative performance, improving the quality of educational and administrative services, and enhancing the principles of governance and transparency, thus contributing to supporting the college's ability to achieve institutional excellence standards.
The visit's first day included an opening session, followed by discussions on several topics, including Egypt's Vision 2030, key missions, seven-star services, e-government/smart government, future foresight, and innovation.
The second day discussed topics such as human capital, asset and resource management, governance, risk management, and business continuity, along with a field trip to the college. The activities concluded with a closing session.
Professor Maha Abdo Al-Ashmawy, Dean of the College, emphasized that this visit represents a strong boost to the College's journey toward institutional excellence. She noted that the technical support provided contributes to developing the work environment and strengthening the College's position as a distinguished academic institution capable of serving the community and achieving sustainable development.
