The President of Mansoura University accompanies the President of King Faisal University on an inspection tour of the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Prof. Dr. Maha El-Ashmawy, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Engy Fikry, Vice Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Hazem Hassan Ramadan, Director of the Central Laboratory of the Genome Project, Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, Dr. Adel bin Mohammed Abu Zenada, President of King Faisal University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Dr. Fahd Abdullah Al-Dawood, General Supervisor of the Department of International Cooperation and Partnerships at the University, received on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, during their extensive inspection tour inside the university, which included the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, following the signing of the cooperation agreement between the two universities to learn about the most prominent academic, medical and research facilities that Mansoura University is distinguished for.

The delegation viewed an introductory presentation on the College of Veterinary Medicine and its educational programs. They also visited the One Health and Genomics Research Unit to learn about advanced research equipment, its operating mechanisms, and the most prominent projects in the field of genomic analysis and disease diagnosis.

During the tour, Dr. Adel bin Mohammed Abu Zanada expressed his admiration for the advanced medical and research capabilities he saw at Mansoura University, emphasizing that these centers represent a distinguished model in education, training, and scientific research, opening up broad prospects for cooperation with King Faisal University.
For his part, Dr. Sherif Khater emphasized that the tour aimed to highlight Mansoura University's position and leadership in the fields of education, scientific research, and medical services. He added that the advanced capabilities the delegation witnessed reflected the extent of the university's efforts over decades. He pointed out that cooperation with King Faisal University will open the way for new strategic partnerships in the fields of education, training, and scientific research, contributing to supporting innovation and serving development issues in Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
