Introductory seminar on the Human Rights Unit at Mansoura University
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater - President of the University of Mansoura, and Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, alongside the leadership of Professor Dr. Maha Abdou Al-Ishmawi - Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Professor Dr. Engy Fikry Risha - Faculty Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision and organization of Professor Dr. Tamer Mohamed Saleh - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs and Executive Director of the University's Human Rights Unit, with the coordination of Professor Dr. Hebat Allah Ahmed Mahgoub - Coordinator of the Human Rights Unit at the Faculty, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine had the honor on Monday, September 30, 2024, to host first-year students of the college and to hold an introductory seminar about the Human Rights Unit at the university, informing students about.
This comes as part of activating the provisions of the national human rights strategy announced by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to reinforce human rights across all state institutions. It also aligns with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education to establish a human rights unit in universities, monitor the application of human rights standards, promote legal culture, and instill the concepts and principles of human rights and democracy among university students.
