Welcome Ceremony for New Students at the College of Veterinary Medicine

On Saturday, September 28, 2024, Mansoura University organized a welcome ceremony for new students coinciding with the start of the new academic year 2024-2025, which includes the faculties of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, and Commerce. Prof. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Mohamed Atieh Al-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Students, participated in the parade and raised the flag at the beginning of the new academic year. Approximately 180,000 students are enrolled at the university across 18 faculties. 

Prof. Sherif Youssef Khater congratulated the students on the occasion of the new academic year and expressed his happiness to be with them at the reception ceremony. He emphasized that the university's goal is to build individuals and shape their personalities by providing knowledge and culture, engaging in various student activities, and participating in the presidential initiative aimed at building the Egyptian citizen. The university also works on shaping thought by offering numerous educational seminars and organizing visits to national projects.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Atieh Al-Bayoumi expressed his happiness to be with the students at the reception ceremony and wished them a distinguished university experience. He encouraged them to take pride in their college and profession, to work on honing their skills, and to participate in various college and university activities. He urged them to embody good morals and university etiquette, as well as to value their time and seek beneficial knowledge.
 
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Atieh Al-Bayoumi participated in the reception ceremony at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, where he was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Maha Al-Ashmawi, the Dean of the faculty, and the esteemed deputies.

Prof. Dr. Maha Al-Ashmawi congratulated the students on the start of the academic year and urged them to embody good morals and university etiquette. She encouraged them to manage their time wisely and focus on acquiring knowledge. She pointed out that the veterinary medicine specialization is one of the most important fields in Egyptian society and the Egyptian state, and she emphasized the significance of the college graduates' distinction and their presence in many vital sectors.
