Mansoura University receives a delegation from the Measurement and Evaluation Center at the Ministry of Higher Education to receive the projects of the sixth session

On Monday, April 22, 2024, Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, received a delegation from the Measurement and Evaluation Center at the Project Management Unit of the Ministry of Higher Education to receive the projects of the sixth session, in the presence of Professor Dr. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Center. At Mansoura University, Professor Dr. Maha Al-Ashmawy, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Dr. Mona Ibrahim Dakrawi, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Professor Dr. Iman Zahran, Deputy Executive Director of the project and Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Mustafa Al-Feki, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the Faculty of Commerce, The delegation included: Professor Dr. Sawsan Ibrahim Abu Al-Ela Shalabi, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Center, Professor Dr. Hani Youssef, Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Sadat University and Vice President of the University and former Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Center, Professor Dr. Dina Abdel Shafi, an internal expert at the Measurement and Evaluation Center, Professor Dr. Ammar Fathi, Professor at the Faculty of Commerce at Sadat City University and Deputy Director of the University’s Center for Measurement and Evaluation.

This visit came within the framework of receiving the projects of the sixth session from the Center for Measurement and Evaluation - the Higher Education Development Project Management Unit to establish the Center for Measurement and Evaluation at Mansoura University and units for measurement and evaluation in the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Commerce. Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater welcomed the delegation, pointing out Mansoura University’s keenness to achieve progress in implementing the objectives of the Measurement and Evaluation Center at Mansoura University in measuring and evaluating the performance of the educational institution in various aspects, measuring the university’s outputs and their compatibility with the labor market, developing strategic plans for university measurement and evaluation, Follow up on the application of the university’s measurement and evaluation standards and spread the digital transformation of its systems to improve the outcomes of the educational process.

Dr. Rehab Jawhar, Head of the Advertising and Publishing Unit at the Center for Measurement and Evaluation, A. Dr. Muhammad Matar, Head of the Statistical Analysis Unit of the Measurement and Evaluation Center, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Badie, Head of the Follow-up and Technical Support Unit and the Electronic Journal of the Measurement and Evaluation Center, A. Reham Ghazi, Secretary of the Center.

The presentation included the center’s most important activities, units, and outputs that took place during the project, the most important of which were: question banks, electronic marking, and electronic tests, developing practical and oral tests, satisfaction measurements for beneficiaries, future plans for continuing to implement the project’s objectives, and visiting measurement and evaluation units in colleges.
