ansoura University was organized a workshop on the principles of safety and security in experimental animal units, which was hold from 5-6 December 2017 at the Center

 for the promoting safety, security, and sustainability, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed El-Kenawy, President of the University, Prof. Ashraf Swailam, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ashraf Abdel Basset, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs,and Prof. Nabil Abu Heikal, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in cooperation with CRDF International Organization.

The workshop aims to explain the principles of safety and security in the use of experimental animal units during the different experiments and dealing with experimental animals in scientific research and how to properly dispose of hazardous wastes after treatment to control pollution risks.

The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Ashraf Swailam, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Mansoura University.

The workshop was concluded with the participation of Prof. Adel Al-Tabei Zaghloul, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development.
