The Board of Directors of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, in its session held today, Wednesday 27/7/2022 headed by Prof. Dr. Yohannes Eid, President of the Authority, approved the accreditation of Mansoura University as the first Egyptian public university to obtain the institutional accreditation certificate, after accrediting 60% of the faculties and educational programs at the university.

The authority formed a team headed by Prof. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama - Secretary of the Association of Arab Universities and former Minister of Higher Education, and the team made a virtual visit to the university and a field visit, and the university was evaluated according to the standards that the authority follows to evaluate university institutions, and the evaluation proved that the standards of the educational, research and governance process are met .

It is worth mentioning that Mansoura University has 10 accredited colleges and 18 specific programs approved by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.
