Prof. Ashraf Sweilem, Vice-President of the University of Higher Studies, met with the boards of the Faculty of  Veterinary Medicine On Tuesday, 17 October 2017 to discuss some topics related to the university's post- graduate sector. 

During the meetings, he discussed how to publish internationally, and how to calculate the impact factor of international journals and their role in the ranking of universities.Then, he spoke about the role of the digital library in determining the plagiarism for dissertations.
He also referred to the approval by the University Council of the proposal of "the steps to prepare the scientific research (applied) until the publication step, as well as the steps followed when the conducting research is in another country ".

On the new amendments in the regulation of post- graduate studies, he pointed out that the TOETL certificate must be accredited by the AMIDEAST and the English Language Center at university should be reviewed before submitting it. The ICDL certificate is obtained once in the master's or doctoral degrees. The international publication of research derived from doctoral dissertations is a condition for the formation of a discussion. These conditions are applied on all enrolled at Mansoura University from 1/9/2018.
