Under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the President of Mansoura University inaugurates the 13th International Conference of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine on Artificial Intelligence, with broad Arab and international participation.

Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, inaugurated the 13th International Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine on Sunday, September 28, 2025. The conference was held under the patronage of Prime Minister Prof. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the conference is being held in Ras El Bar under the title: "Developing Veterinary Medicine Through Artificial Intelligence: Emerging Trends and Future Opportunities," in cooperation with the Egyptian Veterinarians Syndicate.

The opening session was attended by: Dr. Hamdan Rabie, President of Damietta University, Dr. El-Saeed Abdel-Hadi, President of Horus University, Dr. Magdy Hassan, General Secretary of the Egyptian Veterinarians Syndicate and President of the Arab Veterinarians Union, Dr. Hatem El-Rouby, Representative of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, Dr. Hamed Mohamed El-Aqnas, Chairman of the General Authority for Veterinary Services, representing the Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Anas Rateb El-Saud, Executive Director of the Association of Arab Universities, Dr. Ihab Kamal, representing the Egyptian Health Council, Dr. Gamal Abdel-Rahim Sousa, Chairman of the Veterinary Studies Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities and former President of Benha University, Dr. Tarek Ghulush, Vice President of Mansoura University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Maha El-Ashmawy, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Conference Chairperson, and a group of elite veterinarians from the Egyptian Armed Forces, representatives of the World Organization for Animal Health and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Arab and international academic and professional leaders, and media professionals. The session was presented by media personality Ahmed El-Adl.

The conference was attended by deans of veterinary colleges and heads of the profession from various Arab countries, along with experts and researchers from prestigious international universities and research centers, and representatives from the World Organization for Animal Health and the Arab Union of Universities.
The three-day conference will discuss the latest applications of artificial intelligence and biotechnology in veterinary medicine, with the aim of promoting the concept of "One Health" and linking human, animal, and environmental health. It will also issue recommendations that support the development of education and scientific research and serve sustainable development.
