The launch of the student theatrical festival at Mansoura University, and the first event begins with a performance of “The Metamorphosis” by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine team
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of the University, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs.
The Department of Artistic Activities in the General Administration of Student Care organizes the activities of the Student Theater Festival during the period from December 13 to 20, during which 14 plays will be shown on the stage of the Faculties of Law and Education.The jury consists of director Nasser Abdel Moneim, critic Basem Sadek, and actress Aida Fahmy.
The first activities of the shows began today, Friday, December 13, 2024, with the show [The Metamorphosis] by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine team (about the dwarf Minora)

It is worth mentioning that student theater is an educational tool for the individual, as it is a drama with its conscious foundations, and this tool has entered into teaching it to young and old, "so drama contributes to creating a happy and balanced person." Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi pointed out that theater is one of the arts that most affects social life, especially since it is the basis of the intellectual structure of the individual, because it affects human life in a unique way, which other arts and literature may be unable to do.
It is worth mentioning that the events were attended by Prof. Dr. Maha Al-Ashmawy, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Engy Reesha, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Walid Al-Tantawi, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sabry Saraya, General Coordinator of Student Activities, Dr. Mohamed El-Adl, Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and a group of faculty members, Mr. Ahmed El-Ashry, General Manager of Student Care, Dr. Dalia Khalifa, Director of the Artistic Activity Department, Mr. Mohamed Abdel-Halim, and Mr. Ibrahim El-Shenhabi.
