Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of the University, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Maha El-Ashmawy, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Sabry El-Khodary, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Engy Fikry Reesha, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Samah Lashin, Coordinator of Expatriates at the Faculty, and Mrs. Samah Ayman, Head of  Expatriates Office at the Faculty, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, through its Expatriates Office, organized the orientation day event for new expatriate students on Sunday, November 17, 2024, in the college yard, where each community displayed its own introductory corner to introduce their cultures, namely the Omani, Jordanian, Syrian, Palestinian, Bahraini, Iraqi and Somali communities.

The activities began with an opening ceremony that included the Egyptian national anthem and the national anthem of all communities in the college, followed by a speech by Prof. Dr. Engy Fikry, a speech by Prof. Dr. Sabry El-Khodary, and a speech by Prof. Dr. Samah Lashin, all of whom stressed the importance of paying attention to the academic aspect of students so that they graduate as distinguished veterinarians. They also stressed that they are ambassadors for their countries here and we are ambassadors for our country to them. The services of the Expatriates Office and the services provided by the college to expatriate students were presented, as well as an introduction to its programs.
