Mansoura University President:

- The university works to qualify students and prepare them to be leaders in the future through integration into various student activities

- Student activities work to support and integrate the student's personality, which provides a distinguished graduate at all levels.

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, Prof. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Students, inaugurated on October 7, 2024, the Student Activities Festival at the beginning of the new academic year 2024-2025, in the presence of Dr. Walid Al-Tantawi, Assistant Secretary for Student Education Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Sabry Saraya, Coordinator of Student Activities, Dr. Mariam Wissa, Coordinator of the Presidential Initiative "Bedaya- A New Beginning for Building the Human Being" in the Education and Students Sector, and the initiative coordinators in the various faculties, Mr. Ahmed Al-Ashry, Director General of Student Welfare, Ali Ismail, Head of the Student Union, and Directors of Activities in the Student Welfare Department.

During the tour, the university president inspected 9 points inside the university campus that represent the activities of the various departments for student care at the university, which are: scouting and public service activities, cultural activity, artistic activity (shopping festival for the productive student), social activity and trips, welfare for students with special needs, sports activity, student families and unions, scientific and technological activity, leadership preparation, in addition to a tent dedicated to the activities and services of the career development centers, and a tent for combating addiction and smoking.

Prof. Cherif Khater said that the university aims to build the human being and works to qualify students and prepare them to be leaders in the future through integration into various student activities, as President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, has paid unprecedented attention to youth through its interest in cultural and sports activities, that are no less important than the educational process, as student activities work to support and integrate the student's personality, which provides a distinguished graduate at all levels and thus works to build the personality of a distinguished graduate aiming to raise the level of the graduate locally and internationally.

Prof. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi said that the festival works to raise the skills of students, which is part of building an integrated human personality that is the main goal of the university. The university also aims to provide the student with the necessary skills to play his role in building the Egyptian society and state in the new republic. He expressed his pride and appreciation for the students of Mansoura University, stressing their distinction with their knowledge and various talents.

It is worth noting that the festival activities include volleyball, football, basketball, tennis, padel, religious chanting festival, hymns from Egyptian heritage, correspondent and television and radio broadcaster, instant drawing competition, chess, cultural and religious competitions, and integrated student activities are also organized for students with disabilities as a parallel activity to the festival.
