Graduation ceremony for students of specialized programs at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Mansoura University

Professor Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, attended the celebration held by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the university for the graduation of the sixth batch and the honoring of the top students in the Food Safety and Health Program, the second batch of the Pets  Program, and the first batch of both the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Preparations Program and Birds and Rabbit Medicine and Care Program. This event took place on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, in the presence of Professor Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Professor Maha El-Ashmawy, Dean of the Faculty, Professor Mohamed Gaber El-Sayed Gaber, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and the Syndicate of Veterinarians in Dakahlia, Professor Engy Fekry Risha, Vice Dean for Education and Students Affairs, along with the founders and directors of the specialized programs, and a large attendance of faculty members and supporting staff at the college.

Prof.Dr. Sherif Khater congratulated the graduates, emphasizing that veterinary medicine is one of the important and vital fields. Food security is a national concern that occupies the top priorities of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as it is the backbone of the state. The safety of food supports the national economy and reduces our reliance on imports. He described graduation day as a celebration for the graduates and a transitional phase from the university of sciences to the university of life. He also extended his congratulations to the graduates and their parents, affirming that they are a source of pride for the university and wishing them a bright future.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia welcomed the esteemed guests of the university, expressed gratitude to the college administration and the faculty members, encouraged the graduates to take pride in themselves, their college, and their university, and urged them to develop their skills and abilities.

Professor Dr. Maha Al-Ashmawi expressed her gratitude and appreciation during her speech to the esteemed founders and directors of the distinguished programs for their efforts and time, stating that today is the harvest of what they have sown, which has grown into a strong and blooming plant. She also thanked the faculty members and the supporting staff for their hard work and dedication up to the moment of celebrating the graduates. Additionally, she extended her thanks to the executive partners for their collaboration in training the students and equipping them with the necessary skills and experiences for the job market.

Professor Dr. Maha Al-Ashmawi addressed the graduates with a message emphasizing that their success and graduation from the university is not the end of the road, but rather just the beginning of a new life and greater responsibilities.
