On Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Abul-Naga hall, Faculty of Medicine, the President of Mansoura University, Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, inaugurated the activities of the eleventh international scientific conference organized by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Mansoura University, entitled “The compatibility of veterinary education and scientific research with national needs.” and the world in light of Egypt’s Vision 2030” during the period 12-15 September 2021.

The opening was attended by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Tarek Hafez - Vice President of Mansoura University for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khaled Selim - Head of the Syndicate of Veterinarians and President of the Arab Veterinary Union, Major General Hisham Al-Hosary - Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Resources in the House of Representatives, Prof. Dr. Hussein El Maghraby - the former Vice President of Benha University for Education and Student Affairs and representative of the Higher Council for Veterinary Education in North Africa and the Middle East, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Waer - the international expert and animal production consultant, Prof. Dr. Adel El Tabei – Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Conference President, Prof. Dr. Sabri El-Khodary - Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gabr - Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and the Syndicate of Veterinarians in Dakahlia, Prof. Dr. Maha El-Ashmawy - Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and Conference Coordinator, Prof. Dr. / Sahar Abdel-Rahman, professor at the college and member of the scientific, preparatory and organizing committee for the conference, and conference rapporteur, Prof. Dr. Khaled Sal M - Head of the Food Control Department at the college, heads of scientific departments and distinguished programs at the college, a number of professors of veterinary medicine at Egyptian universities, American Cornell Universities, German Hanover, German FLI, and the Royal Veterinary College at London University, representatives of the Veterinary Syndicate in Dakahlia and its affiliated departments.
